The A-Line

Jacqueline's most common look was the a-line dresses and suits that she wore to Presidential campaigns and other events. Her suits were usually made by Chanel and with the finest wools and materials. She liked her foreign fashion pieces and couldn't quite find anything that was made so nicely like her foreign pieces. The a-line style minimizes the hips and flatters just about every body type and Jackie was a huge fan.

The Pearls

Another one of Jacqueline's signature fashion icons was her pearls. She wore a variety of pearls from sizes to strands. Jackie took the large sized pearls, something that commonly looks like costume jewelry, and turn it into a timeless look. Three strands of pearls was a common look worn by Jackie. Her three stranded pearl necklace was faux, but when sold at an estate auction upon her death, it was valued at almost $211,500! Nearly 350 times the original value of the necklace!

The Pillbox Hat

The pillbox hat was one of Jackie Kennedys most signature fashion piece. The pillbox hat is a hat that women wear that has straight sides and a flat top. Jacqueline had multiple hats that matched her outfits to wear for all different kinds of occassions. One of the most famous pictures of her was taken when she was wearing one of these hats.
